An old clock in the city suddenly starts running erratically, causing minor chaos in the well-regulated habits of Tomoeda's residents. Sakura, intrigued by this anomaly, immediately senses a familiar energy around the old mechanism.

The responsible card turns out to be playful, drawing Sakura into a real game of hide-and-seek where time itself seems to slip away, now speeding up, now freezing. With Shaoran's help and the magic feather, she learns to stop chasing the card and instead welcome it patiently, until she captures it at the end of a game as strange as it is fun.
