The Guardians of the Seal

Clow Reed created two Guardians to watch over his book and cards: Kerberos, associated with the Sun, and Yue, associated with the Moon.

These two creatures ensure that only a worthy person can inherit the power of the Cards, and they judge the legitimacy of any new claimant, such as Sakura.
