Sakura Xiaolang and the Sea of Sand

A school outing or a simple walk takes an unexpected turn when Sakura and Shaoran suddenly find themselves surrounded by sand dunes as far as the eye can see, as though an entire desert had appeared in the middle of Tomoeda. Disoriented, the two children have to join forces to understand what's happening and find their way back.

A Clow Card has transformed the surroundings into a genuine shifting sea of sand, littered with mirages and traps along the way. Sakura and Shaoran move forward side by side, dividing tasks with an efficiency that reflects how far they've come since capturing cards separately, eventually combining their powers to defeat the card.

Isolated from everyone else's eyes, the two young Cardcaptors see each other in a new light, between teasing and moments of rare sincerity from Shaoran, usually so reserved. This improvised isolation marks an important step in bringing their relationship closer, still shy but growing more and more obvious.
