Sakura and the Mysterious Transfer Student

The new school year is approaching in Tomoeda, and Sakura, now Mistress of the Clow Cards, thinks she can finally enjoy a normal life alongside Tomoyo, Shaoran, and Kero. But the first day of class holds a big surprise: a new transfer student, Eriol Hiiragizawa, makes an entrance as charming as it is enigmatic, with a smile that seems to say far more than it lets on.

That evening, while proudly putting away her Clow Book, Sakura discovers in horror that one of her cards has turned completely blank, stripped of all its power. Kero, just as worried and baffled, can't make sense of this phenomenon he's never seen before: the cards she thought were all safely captured are starting to lose their essence one by one, and Sakura realizes a new challenge has just begun, unlike anything she's faced before.

Between Eriol's mysterious arrival and this unexplained phenomenon, a shadow suddenly falls over Sakura's newfound peace. Shaoran, just back in Tomoeda, shares her unease about this new student with the all-too-perfect smile, while Sakura feels a mix of curiosity and apprehension rising within her: her life as Cardcaptor may not be over after all -- it may only be beginning in a new form.
