Sakura's Exhausting Sunday
For once, Sakura hopes to enjoy a quiet Sunday with her family, her father Fujitaka and her brother Toya, far from any Cardcaptor worries. But Kero, ever the glutton and the layabout, still urges her to stay alert, certain a card will show up before the day is over.
His prediction proves right when a mischievous card turns their family outing into a string of outlandish mishaps, one after another from morning to night, leaving Sakura no rest whatsoever. Exhausted, she has to summon her last reserves of energy to capture the card before her family notices her increasingly odd behavior.
By the end of this grueling day, Sakura collapses from exhaustion but keeps smiling, well aware that even days off are no longer really hers since becoming Cardcaptor. The episode plays up the comic tone of an ordinary day gone haywire while quietly highlighting the discreet affection Toya has for his little sister, whom he always keeps an eye on without ever letting it show.
